Marco Just Turned 1!

Yap, he's getting older. Last August 14, 2012, we celebrated his first birhtday. It was raining very hard and I thought the party won't push through. Thank God it stopped and a few sweeps later, my kids were ready to party!

Immunizations for Senior Citizen

Wonder why I haven't posted much?it's because of the trainings I attended that made it so hard to write. And this is one of them.

I went with our nurse and midwife. So what was it all about?

As I have previously said, one of the Millenium Development Goals is the Reduction in Maternal Mortality. This is one of the answers of the Department of Health. By training us in the rural areas, we will be able to identify and give emergency treatments to pregnant and portpartum mothers.

It was a 10-day training composed of different teams from different municipalities. Our exposure area was at the Southern Philippines Medical Center. I wish there were more photos but this is all i have, courtesy of Dra. Duldulao of Montevista.

Shakira - Hips Don't Lie ft. Wyclef Jean

I was never a big fan of Shakira. I have seen some of her music videos. I like her but not really a fan (don't get me wrong).

All that changed when I saw this video and watched it attentively. I have heard the song but didn't see this until tonight. I was amazed at how her hips moved. Been looking for an inspiration to help me lose weight and I think this video is it! Watch it and tell me I'm wrong.
