Time flew so fast really.  Nine years and counting. My little girl who is not so little now celebrated her brithday with a craft party together with a few of her friends at Yellow Hauz. It was a Sharpie-on-Fabric kind of day for them. 

Thanks to Miss April San Pedro (@iamartisan of Artisan Paperie) who made it all possible. They did it on shirts, bags and pouches.

And of course, it would not be complete without a photo session.

It's her 5th birthday today. She came into the room and reminded me. "Mom it's my birthday today!"

I said, "I know."  "Can I open my gift now?" And I told her to wait for me as I was still in the bathroom. She was wondering why her gift didn't have any names on it.

To my dear sweet child, 5 years have gone by. I love you, daddy loves you, everyone loves you. I pray you'd grow up to be a good girl who loves God and your family. Happy Birthday nak!

Fiesta ni Sto. Rosario

Tomorrow is our parochial fiesta. The streets are busy. You can see ukay-ukay on the sidewalk, ranging from shirts, shorts, leggings, pedal, pants, curtains and even comforters. Look at my loot.

Hubby and I bought clothes for the kids. I know, i know. The germs and all that. I'll be washing them personally so I know when to stop scrubbing. hehehe The prices ranged from P10 to P25 max. And I bought some cute slips for them too, which costs P5 per pair.

If it weren't for the light rain, I'd still be walking the streets and looking for clothes. But hubby insisted we get out the rain. And here is my snack for the afternoon, hot water with ginger and puto.

Before I forget, it's also my dad's birthday tomorrow. Happy birthday papa! He'll be turning 57 tomorrow. But I heard that's not going to be part of his trivia tomorrow so I mentioned his age. hahaha Watch out for the trivia tomorrow at 6-8am at JB103.9 FM, The Jewel of the South.

Another Year, Another Blessing

I woke up with my phone ringing. It was my husband standing outside the door. Surprised as I wasn't expecting him to come home. I thought it was 4am, since I usually wake up at that time. I opened my laptop and noticed it was 12:48 am. It's my birthday. (wink wink)

I couldn't go back to sleep. I felt energized. Don't have any plans for the day really but just to lay in bed and rest (my laryngitis is not getting any better). I spent the next 3-4 hours watching the video of Beyonce live at Roseland. My sister was right, it was great!

Before I end, Thank You God for another year, another blessing, more joys to come. I know you will never leave my side!

Marco Just Turned 1!

Yap, he's getting older. Last August 14, 2012, we celebrated his first birhtday. It was raining very hard and I thought the party won't push through. Thank God it stopped and a few sweeps later, my kids were ready to party!
