BabyPlus Prenatal Education System

Sunday, June 24, 2012

A few days ago I was introduced to this BabyPlus Prenatal Education System. I'm not so easily sold out on any products so I was a bit apprehensive but nonetheless open to new technology. So I let that person send me files upon files. And once you send me research and "studies" of that technology, then you have my attention.

So now let me introduce the new addition to our line... BabyPlus Prenatal Education System, uses patterns of sound waves that resembles the mother's heartbeat. It comprises of 16 lessons. It's best used at 14th-18th weeks of pregnancy. It enriches the baby's cognitive development while still inside the womb, giving the child a head-start in learning. Research shows that BP babies are more alert at birth, more calm at birth, slept thru the night at an earlier age and are more interactive and responsive. BP kids reach their developmental milestones earlier and show readiness in school later in life.

The BabyPlus comes with 1 unit, 1 pouch and 1 instruction manual. It needs 4 AA batteries to run. It is to be used twice a day, 1 hour maximum per use. Each unit i sold at P8250.00.

The truth is, BabyPlus does not create Geniuses!!! The BabyPlus just enriches your child's cognitive development. If I were to have another baby (which I can't anymore), I'd definitely want one of this.

Product Review: Organic Mother's Milk Tea

Thursday, June 21, 2012

I have always loved tea. I love tea more than I love coffee. That's most of the time. So I was greatly ecstatic to buy one that also helps me breastfeed M. Bought this tea at The Pod during the Babywearing Event. They handed out free cookies and tea. Gen and I had to try it. So far I love both the cookies and the tea (haha).

This one has a different smell, a funny smell. If you're taking fenugreek supplements to boost your milk you might recognize the smell. It's sweet and musty (I think). At first I decided to put in honey thinking it might taste good just like when I'm drinking my Apple and Cinnamon tea from Twinnings. Though it tasted sweet, I preferred to take the mother's milk tea without the honey.

I took it for two days only. I decided to stop taking it because I was already back to pumping two bags in my 8 hours of work. That was enough for me. And that was fast huh?!

The downside of the tea is that Marco was left with a funny smell on his head. You know how we take fenugreek capsules and you end up with a maple syrup smell? Have you tried that? I did. I tried fenugreek capsules while pumping milk for my second child and that's how I smelled. This time, Marco is left with a sour smell on his head. This happened after taking the tea for 1 day. We were puzzled at first because we didn't use any new products except for their lotion. Eventually I put two-and-two together. After 5 days of taking the tea, that's 3 days after quitting the tea, the smell went away as well.

My 2 bags of breastmilk after taking the tea for 2 days.

I Need Some Advice Please...

Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Emotionally I'm not ready to wean M. He sleeps better at night when he feeds on me. I have upcoming trainings in another city. Though travelling everyday is an option, it is very tiring and accident prone. What to do, what to do?

Product Review: Piggy Paint

Tuesday, June 19, 2012

Have you seen my photos in instagram? Some of them featured my daughter R being manicured and she loves it. Every time we have our nails done, she goes first. Always loved it and she jumps up and down.

So I wanted to try the safe nail colors for her. We tried out Piggy Paint in "How Merlot Can You Go". Each cost around P400. It's water-based so it dries a little longer. It stays on for over a week. By the 6th day, it starts to chip off. When it's time to remove it, I just used an ordinary acetone and it was harder to remove than ordinary nail polish. There's a Piggy Paint Nail Polish Remover but haven't tried it yet.

To order one, you may shop and inquire here.

Look at those cute nails.

Finally she can hold still for me to take this shot

Product Review: Human Nature Tinted Lip Balm in Flame Red

Monday, June 18, 2012

I have been using this for over a month now. I rarely wear lipstick because I feel they are too heavy. This one has a very light feeling that you're wearing one. It glides on smoothly, paints your lips red and is environment friendly. Wouldn't you love that? I do.

Fundynamics Bead Jewelry Making Seminar - Beginner's Class

Sunday, June 17, 2012

You know how much I love jewelries. So me and my sister Esh decided to attend the Fundynamics Bead Jewelry Making Seminar - Beginner's Class. My sister used to make beaded jewelries so I know she would love to go with me. Here are some of the photos taken during that time.

See that lady wearing a blue printed blouse? That's my friend Imee who happened to be attending the seminar too with her husband. Her husband was very good huh!

Introduction to Advanced Wiring

Me and my sister Esh
It was so much fun. I learned a lot and so did my sister. Plus we met new people so it was worth every penny. We went home with our hands so sore and our backs aching. But it was a good feeling knowing we learned something new. Looking forward to the Advanced Class!

Dapitan: Gloria's Fantasyland

Saturday, June 16, 2012

The kids were so excited looking at the lights that they can't wait to get inside. By the time we were inside, R wanted to ride everything and I mean everything. She had so much fun that she forgot about her dinner. She hurriedly ate her popcorn so she can ride again.

At around 9:00 pm, there was a fantasyland show featuring their cartoon characters and their versions of good guys and bad guys. All in all the show wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't great either, enough to entertain all guests.
