Himsog Malita

Since the latter part of 2013, Malita has been the center of interest of the Department of Health, World Health Organization and other NGOs. This is part of the greater plan towards reduction of maternal and neonatal death and reduction of non-communicable diseases. It has been a pretty busy months for all of us at the local government units. And I'd like to share with you some photos of what has been going on in the municipality. 

This is the Training on Action for Healthier Families. This involves our community health teams. The training was given by UP professors in collaboration with WHO and DOH. 

Other LGU staff were also present during the training which makes it more meaningful.
