Eraser Stamp Making with I_Am_Artisan
Saturday, April 9, 2016
On a fine sunny Sunday, my daughters and I joined a workshop with @i_am_artisan April San Pedro, Anna Santos (Fabian Trends Unlimited) and Paolo Ramirez (The Secret Garden Design Studio). It was held on Coral Reef Resort. I've been wanting to learn stamp making for a long time and to have joined this workshop is a dream come true. The added bonus was that I got to learn with my daughters, and we bonded a lot during the process.

My husband found this game while we were looking for kids' toys. From the look in his eyes, I knew he's up to something. When we got back to the province, he was like a kid with a big candy.
The objective of the game was to keep the whole architecture intact and upright, while each block is removed from its original position and transferred on top. As much as possible, you have to ensure that everytime you remove a block, it has to stay upright. Otherwise the whole architecture comes tumbling down.
True enough, everyone had fun playing Jenga, including the kids.

It has been years since I witnessed how this book got so much good ratings. I tried to buy one copy a few years back but I wasn't lucky to get one. I envied those who were able to meet the author and was able to talk to her about her book. By the way, she's Filipino so that makes it even better.
This is one book you don't wanna put down. I laughed, cried, smiled and felt sad for the characters. It's a love story. There's birth and there's death. I don't wanna spoil what the book is all about. Go get yourself a copy. Thank you Books Mnl for the copy.

When you've been down on a rot for two days, how do you get your groove back and start working like crazy again? Is there a motivational, inspiring quote that you get to say to change the way you feel?
I don't. Sometimes you just have to get up and get back out there. Though that's easier said than done. You just have to start somewhere. For me, it's writing this short talk. It's full of nonsense, full of crap, you may not even relate to this, but for me, it's a first.
Haven't been feeling well, I'm still not a 100% okay. Having lightheadedness and a little tight on the chest but I chose to sit and write this. So I'm giving myself a tap on the back.
My next problem is to stay focused and finish the whole day. Will be taking it an hour at a time.
For the rest of you, may you be inspired today and help change someone else's life for the better.
