Furious!!!

Thursday, April 7, 2011

So last night before closing my eyes, I was browsing through my fb account. I stumbled upon this video posted by a friend of mine in his account. Caption was something like "Mother's Luv", and that 'one' should definitely view it. I was hoping to see, as the caption said, a mother's love.

I was so disgusted when I saw a mother kicking her, I think, 2 year old child while giving her a bath and pushing water down her throat. I was so furious that I wanted to punch her in the face right at that moment. I couldn't finish watching it 'cuz it was making me so furious.

Why would anyone bring a child into this world and just treat them like that??? A message to women who doesn't want the responsibility of raising kids... Don't get pregnant!!!

Product Review: Leyende Shampoo and Conditioner

Sunday, April 3, 2011

Every time i get pregnant, i get so paranoid with the products i'm using. So in my first trimester, aside from being so picky with the smells, i wanted to use organic products.

I tried leyende shampoo and their conditioner. I was hoping that the scent won't be that strong. But was I mistaken!

The scent was too strong for my picky nose. Plus hubby seem to confirm what i was smelling. so maybe the scent was really strong. But they did make my hair soft and smooth.

My Recent Purchases

It's been days since i was obsessing about kidada wrap bracelets and hamsa bracelets and finally i found one that sells both. although i wasn't able to fully customize mine, just added a watch to the bracelet and a maroon strap for the hamsa instead of the traditional red strap (which wasn't available). Nevertheless I was so happy happy happy!

This is my hamsa bracelet with a maroon strap.

This is my kidada wrap bracelet. i asked her to put a clock so that it's a 2-in-1 bracelet.

Plus, she gave me a freebie!!! woohoo

All of these i got from it's happy corner !!! Thank you so much.

Green Bags

Wednesday, July 21, 2010

It's been more than a week since I've started using only green bags when doing my grocery. I've used SM green bags, Luntian Bags and other free bags given by different companies.

Yes even big companies are doing their part. However, the bigger questions is, how much are we doing to save mother earth? Supposedly by using reusable bags instead of plastic bags is a start. but how many of us are really using it? Even with just using a single bag can help reduce plastic waste. so why won't people do such a simple act???

Nutraganics Smoothing Day Cream by The Body Shop

I've been looking for a product that deeply moisturizes. I've tried "olay total effects" before but somehow i get headaches every time i use it. I like what it does to my face but i can't stand the constant headaches from using it. Then I stumbled upon Nutraganics Smoothing Day Cream.

According to their site, it is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and improve skin's elasticity and tone, this reviving moisturizer provides long-lasting hydration for up to 12 hours. Enriched with organic Community Trade ingredients and botanicals, this must-have beauty cream will leave your skin feeling smooth, soft and supple and looking radiant.

It's Organic! that's the best part. I'm still breastfeeding so I'm very picky when it comes to beauty products. When I applied it, I felt the same consistency with Olay total effects. This is just Day 1 for me. Will see what happens in the next four weeks.
