Induction of Officers, MOU and MBD of Davao Occidental Medical Society

Sunday, February 14, 2016

Last January 30, 2016 was the Induction of Officers of the Davao Occidental Medical Society. We were honoured to have our South Eastern Mindanao Governor, Dr. Malou Garcia-Monteverde grace us. In line with the society's activity was also the signing of Memorandum of Understanding with the Philippine National Red Cross - Davao del Sur Chapter and mass blood donation. It was a privilege to be working also with the Knights of Columbus.

We were told that the signing was the first among the South Eastern Mindanao Chapter. We would like to thank the 73rd IB, the PNP Malita, staff of MDH and others for participating in our activity. We would also like to thank Sir Prince Paraiso, Sir Eric Flordeliza, PJ Flores and the people behind the success of the activity. We would also like to thank LGU-Malita for allowing us to use their facility.

What the society aims to achieve is to strengthen the bond of doctors working in the province of Davao Occidental, be the bridge for assisting the needs of different facility in terms of trainings and requirements and assist in increasing the blood bank pool for the people of Davao Occidental.

To the officers and members of the Davao Occidental Medical Society, congratulations and more power to all of us. You may follow us on facebook by liking our page "Davao Occidental Medical Society."

The Mind Museum

Tuesday, January 26, 2016

I have always been curious about "The Mind Museum" ever since I saw this on a blog. I've always wanted to take my kids their. So when we passed by the building, we couldn't pass the chance not to see what's inside.

They had displays of comic book heroes outside the actual entrance. We we went in and M had so much fun looking at his favourite characters.

I couldn't pass up the chance with Starwars, my favourite.

Since we're both Globe users, we got free pass.

When we got in, the kids were unstoppable. They wanted to keep going back. They had so much fun inside. So many unique things to look at and try.

This was M's favourite part.

I just had to try this one. This was the best part for me. Static electricity. R was wondering and didn't know what to expect. When it started and she saw her hair standing up, she couldn't stop laughing, and so did I.

Outside there was a playground, a very unique playground.

Manila 2016

Monday, January 25, 2016

During the first week of January, we took the kids to Manila. We had a visa interview scheduled and decided to make the most out of the trip. The kids are bigger, they tend to tell you where they wanna go. plus they can tell you now what food they want. It's easier to decide.

Tried so much to fit into the screen

dropped by "The Mind Museum"

While they were watching the water fountain dance at Libis.

The kids wanted so much to have our photos taken.

JULIE'S DECK

Friday, January 1, 2016

It's about time we give credit where credit is due. Finally named the view deck under my mother's name who took great effort to make Malita beautiful.

The Municipal Resolution naming the view deck as Julie's Deck.
