Last January 30, 2016 was the Induction of Officers of the Davao Occidental Medical Society. We were honoured to have our South Eastern Mindanao Governor, Dr. Malou Garcia-Monteverde grace us. In line with the society's activity was also the signing of Memorandum of Understanding with the Philippine National Red Cross - Davao del Sur Chapter and mass blood donation. It was a privilege to be working also with the Knights of Columbus.
We were told that the signing was the first among the South Eastern Mindanao Chapter. We would like to thank the 73rd IB, the PNP Malita, staff of MDH and others for participating in our activity. We would also like to thank Sir Prince Paraiso, Sir Eric Flordeliza, PJ Flores and the people behind the success of the activity. We would also like to thank LGU-Malita for allowing us to use their facility.

What the society aims to achieve is to strengthen the bond of doctors working in the province of Davao Occidental, be the bridge for assisting the needs of different facility in terms of trainings and requirements and assist in increasing the blood bank pool for the people of Davao Occidental.
